One-off upcycled sweater, base sweater is wool, hand made decorations are both hand-knitted and felted with wool. It's very important to only carefully hand-wash, this is originally an exhibition piece and was mainly meant for hanging up for show, but can of course also been worn.
The Fried eyes sweater was made for the exhibition Presence, at the Icelandic museum for design and applied arts in 2023. Later it traveled to be exhibited in Copenhagen at Nordatlantens brygge in 2024.
Each sweater at the exhibition brought out a strong presence and character after the Ýrúrarí makeover to bring them increased value after someone had thrown them away at least once. The fried eyes sweater both represented an abstract character with it's many eyes and tongues, but was also made to show guests the technique of needle felting as a mending solution for knits. The felt is always more sensitive than other techniques, so it can not be pulled or washed in a washing machine.

Handwash with lukewarm water, do not put in a dryer or a washer.
